Well Done England

November 19th, 2006

English Rugby took one step back from the cliff after scraping past South Africa at Twickenham yesterday.
However, Wales are in a jubilant mood after trouncing Canada, but will their success be any measure of preparation heading into an All Blacks rendezvous? Sure, they will have home support, but the hearts and minds of nearly 5 million kiwis (and many million more sheep) will ensure we go into this battle with resolve.

We admire the Welsh Rugby team, a lot more than other countries might do, there is a great depth in their play and a comeraderie stretching back decades.

Lift Maintenance - Taking the mick?

November 19th, 2006

I have been out and about lately, visiting with clients onsite, and 3 out of 5 offices I visited this week (including ours) had no working lift.

We commented on this observation and was met with a series of derisory comments (at each location) aimed at lift operators and their inability to maintain a working lift for an extended period of time.

I felt better taking the stairs but thought about my not-so-able-bodied colleagues whose lives are made tortuous through these events.

Do your lifts work?
