Thanks to those of you who turned out today for the OMMG meetup. It was a pleasure to meet with you and learn more about your businesses and to discuss ways that blogs can benefit your sites.
I hope to hear from several of you over the coming weeks.

The weather was pants today, blustery and cold, and I was in the ideal spot to enjoy a stroll had the weather been a little more spring-like.
I spent the day in Lewes (near Brighton) and caught glimpses of the sea and the rugged coastline, however, sadly I was in a room training people for the best part of the day.
The drive back was a nightmare, stuck on the M25 carpark from the time I joined at Redhill (clockwise) until after the M40 turnoff - well over 2 hours later.

The Year of the Pig starts tomorrow and we have just returned from a trip to Oriental City for a spot of new years eve celebrations, a nice meal and a spot of shopping too.
We’re celebrating in our own little way tomorrow and will be having a chinese dinner, complete with fortune cookies and chinese beer.

This week we have had a couple of days of snow, with a good 4 inches piled up on the car.
To rub in the great weather mum’s been having on the other side of the world she sent me this pic, taken on her terrace.
Summer in NZ - one of the hottest days so far.

I have been invited to speak at a London Mastermind meeting on 24 February. I am going to accept and details can be found here.
I hope to add value to members’ businesses by imparting some useful and practical information on the day.

Today I have put the (almost) finishing touches to my Raptor helicopter and hope to arrange a test flight in a few weekends time (weather permitting)
With clear skies and encouraging temps I am keen to get airborne and ready in time for a visit from my father-in-law in May.
Leisure Time
Travelling around the UK this week I have gone through an unusually high level of windscreen cleaner.
Everywhere I went I had to clean my screen, every 150 miles or thereabouts.
There weren’t many insects, just general road grime, which made driving at night challenging.
The roads were dry (M1, M6 toll and M56) and there hadn’t been any gritting in the past 10 days.
Now this isn’t a gripe, it’s just a reflection …
