Coffee… dreaming of Intelligentsia…
We stopped by BlueSpoon Cafe (Chambers Street, between York and Broadway (New York), for a taste of a much talked about coffee brand, Intelligentsia.
I’ve heard Intelligentsia Coffee mentioned on numerous coffee-related podcasts and just had to try some. I was impressed. Not only did it live up to the hype, it exceeded it.
The barista (I think she was actually the owner too) prepared my shot with care and a smile. I had no idea she was so young and had such a responsibility (cafe owner/entrepreneur) and it wasn;t until we left and read the clippings in the window that we realised this.
There was a steady stream of customers and the food selection was great too. For a good cafe in downtown Manhattan I’d recommend BlueSpoon.
